Maria had a quick checkup yesterday, and everything looked good. Sounds like Nubs is moving around a lot and making lots of good heart beat noises. There’s another set of blood work being processed, but we shouldn’t really hear anything else until the big 20 week ultrasound where (hopefully) the gender will be determined.

A positive update on Nubs
We just heard the results of our genetic screening last week, and everything is great. This test reported the odds of some genetic disorders and everything came back well into the thousands-to-one range. (Which is good.)
This means I will relax about the baby’s healthy for perhaps an entire afternoon.
