I came across this video on my phone from a couple of months ago when Anna would sit still for a while. It sure looks bizarre to us now!
Packers Day 2012
Here are a handful of pictures from Anna’s first regular season Packers game.
Packers Day 2012
You can tell it was early on by all that smiling.
Rasberries!
At around 3pm on Sunday, Anna figured out how to make a rasberry noise. She did it pretty much non-stop for the next few hours.
Also, here’s a quick video of her “cruising,” or practicing her walking around the couch. Not her best effort, especially the dismount.
Monster Anna!
See Anna’s terrifying new mobility for yourself!

Crawling 101 & New Pictures
Anna is taking the longest nap of her life (three hours and counting), which gives me plenty of time to finally get these pictures online.
- May, 2012 Pictures – some good portraits on the back porch, and meeting the Andersons
- June, 2012 Pictures – lots of great pictures from Carrie & Eric’s wedding and Anna’s first solid food
- July, 2012 Pictures – chewing on fingers, mostly
- August, 2012 Pictures – the emergence of the duck face
Also, I got lucky and captured Anna’s best crawling yet this morning. Anna is officially on the move:
Early Morning Anna
Anna woke us up early this morning, so I shot a couple videos of her trying to crawl. Sorry for the low quality – I should really start using the good camera instead of my phone more often.
A Few Anna Pictures
Maria and I realized we haven’t posted a new album for quite a while! We’ll try get an album of pictures from the good camera up here soon, but until then here are a few from my phone that haven’t made it to the website yet.
What an Off Season
This morning I realized that Anna is about one Packers off season old. The last time the Packers played was January 15th when they lost in a lackluster performance against the Giants – Anna was four days old, and she spent most of the game napping on my lap (preventing me from cursing at our secondary too loudly). Tomorrow, the Packers return to the field for their first preseason game against the Chargers, and Anna will spend the game sleeping in her crib.
But a month from now, when the regular season begins, an almost-eight-month-old Anna will be awake and chewing on my Packers hat, watching the game with Mom & Dad.
Expert Tummy Time
Anna’s Tummy Time skills have come a long way. Here’s a nice little video of us just hanging out on the rug.
