Grandma Parrott brought Anna home last night, and hung out with her until Maria got home so I could finish up some work. Once Maria got home, Grandma Parrott started telling this story about how some Walmart employees were unhelpful and Anna suddenly broke into laughter at an impression.
This is by far the most Anna has ever laughed, and also the only time I’ve ever heard her laugh without being tickled.
Anna woke us up early on this gloomy Saturday morning. Since it was raining, we couldn’t go to the farmer’s market so we just sat around on the couch for a while. Anna played with her new giant hippo puppet from Great Grandma & Grandpa Ryan.
Anna measured in the 90-95th percentile for height today at her four month checkup. (Depending on if you believe the first or second measurement.)
Anna loves hair for some reason. Here she is a few minutes into playing with Maria’s hair.
Here’s a video of Anna’s newly discovered laugh! It’s brand new – she’s still learning how to use it.

Bath time to rumble
It’s been too long since we posted any pictures! Anna took some great pictures of Anna and I earlier today, so I thought I’d share these.
Anna is doing very well – eating a lot, sleeping a lot, and using her hands more every day. She went to her first Farmer’s Market today and took a nice long nap.
Anna likes laying on Maria’s lap and talking to the ceiling. Here she is in action!
And maybe she isn’t so much smacking her lips as she is trying to eat her own face. Either way, it’s weird.
